As a coach and/or mentor, why should I accredit/credential with an IRCM CIC Accredited/Registered Professional Body?
.
The overall reason a Coach and/or Mentor would REGISTER with the IRCM CIC is to protect their consumers.
Registering with the IRCM CIC raises consumer confidence in the industry.
You will be part of bringing the industry together to work as a single industry, under a Unified Codes of Conduct.
You have the opportunity to participate in determining the future of the coaching and mentoring industry.
Registering with the IRCM CIC will build trust, confidence, and excellence in the coaching or mentoring industry; and is one of credibility.
.
The reason the IRCM CIC would encourage an IRCM CIC Registered Coach and/or Mentor to accredit/credential with a Professional Body that is ACCREDITED/REGISTERED with the IRCM CIC, is to:
- gain an independent assessment of their professional capability, through accreditation or credentialing.
- demonstrate their commitment to their own on-going Continuous Professional Development.
- demonstrate their commitment to being a professional in their work.
- recognise that the Professional Body has pride in our industry, and is committed to maintaining and increasing the standards while helping us to continue to grow consumer confidence in the industry.
.
A Professional Body that has agreed to include the industry recognised Codes of Conduct, recognise the Ombudsman Service, and work with the IRCM CIC to raise the standards of the industry and help us to continue to grow consumer confidence by REGISTERING with the IRCM CIC; is a Professional Body that has a pride in the industry and in the work that it does within the industry. A Professional Body that has taken the additional step to become ACCREDITED by the IRCM CIC has demonstrated a transparency of their standards, ethics, and competencies through the processes and procedures they use to accredit/credential Coaches, Mentors, and/or Private Commercial Training Organisations.
