This field denotes the name of the Company.
Industry-related commercial organisations are Organisations, Coaches and Mentors who work within the Coaching and Mentoring industry. Therefore:
- for Formal Education Body or Private Commercial Training Organisation or Coach/Mentor who provides training, this field will display the formal name of their company.
This is important where Organisations trade as a different name to that of their formal registration name.
. - for Coaches and Mentors who provide training, where the Coach and/or Mentor works through a Company and not as a sole-trader using their own name, this field denotes the Company name.
. - for Coaches and Mentors who provide training, where the Coach and/or Mentor does not work through a Company and is working as a sole-trader, this field will denote their own name.
This field denotes the country in which the Formal Education Body or Private Commercial Training Organisation or Coach and/or Mentor who provides training, is trading.
This is important for the Consumer, as this represents the legislation under which they are agreeing to train.
There are three different types of education bodies/training organisations in the coaching and mentoring industry: (1) Formal Education Body or (2) Private Commercial Training Organisation or (3) Coach and/or Mentor who provides training.

In order that the consumers benefit from high-quality services and products provided by Formal Education Body or Private Commercial Training Organisation or Coach and/or Mentor who provides training; the IRCM CIC encourages all consumers to verify that each Educator/Trainer have demonstrated their:
- commitment and professionalism to the industry by being IRCM CIC Registered.
. - own quality and excellence specifically for Private Commercial Training Organisations and Coaches/Mentors who provide training, by being Externally Verified through an accreditation/credential awarded by one or more industry-specific IRCM CIC's Registered/Accredited Professional Bodies.
. - externally verified accreditation/credential through one or more Professional Bodies.
Please note: all IRCM CIC Accredited or Registered Professional Bodies will be identified through an * against the Professional Body name.

This provides a level of assurance that the Formal Education Body or Private Commercial Training Organisation or Coach and/or Mentor who provides training has the right level of excellence and experience to provide their course and/or workshop.
Coaching and/or Mentoring clarifies to the consumer (prospective student) which course and/or workshop this Educator/Trainer provides.
Not every Formal Education Body or Private Commercial Training Organisation or Coach and/or Mentor who provides training on this Directory provides courses/workshops for both skills, and this column on the directory clarifies whether the Educator/Trainer provides Coaching only, or Mentoring only, or Coaching and Mentoring courses/workshops. The IRCM CIC recommends that the consumer is clear about the type of course or workshop they seek, as coaching and mentoring are different skills.

Currently Trading confirms whether the Formal Education Body or Private Commercial Training Organisation or Coach and/or Mentor who provides training is still trading.
This is important for the consumer, as a number of Educators/Trainers may still have the representation on their social media, website, marketing material, or other information; but may not be trading.
The IRCM CIC's Star Status is based on facts provided by the consumers.
They are not a validation of the service or product provided but are simply the opinion of another person who has trained on one or more courses/workshops offered by the Formal Education Body or Private Commercial Training Organisation or Coach and/or Mentor who provides training.

Each Formal Education Body or Private Commercial Training Organisation or Coach and/or Mentor who provides training who is currently REGISTERED with the IRCM CIC agrees to abide by:
- Internationally recognised Code of Standards and Ethics
- Internationally recognised Coaching and Mentoring Industry Core Competencies
- Internationally recognised Disciplinary Procedures
- and recognises the Coaching and Mentoring Industry Ombudsman Service for the support of their Consumers.

This field confirms the type of education body/training organisation.
This field provides each Formal Education Body or Private Commercial Training Organisation or Coach and/or Mentor who provides training to provide full details on how each Consumer can contact them.
Each body/organisation has the opportunity to include a description of their services.
This field provides the Consumer with the full registered name of the Formal Education Body or Private Commercial Training Organisation or Coach and/or Mentor who provides training. This is important for the Consumer, as the agreement for studying will be in the registered name and not in the trading name.
The Legal Entity Structure or Company Type defines the type of company that the Coach and/or Mentor is operating. This is important for the Consumer, as this represents the legislation under which they are agreeing to a contract of service or product.
The List of legal entity types by country provides details of each type of company worldwide.
For example, in the UK the following types of company are available:
- Private Limited Companies - either by shares or by guarantee.
- Public Limited Company.
- Unlimited Company.
- Partnerships - either a general partnership or a Limited Liability Partnership or a Scottish Limited Partnership or a Limited Partnership.
- Sole trader.
- Charitable Incorporated Organisation.
- Community Interest Company.
- Industrial and Provident Society e.g. co-operative.
Depending upon the Legal Entity Structure or Company Type the Coach and/or Mentor's company may have a formal reference number. Where this is the case, this reference number will be entered in this field.
The date entered in this field is the date by which the Coach and/or Mentor starting trading.
Please note - this does not mean that they were trading as a Coach and/or Mentor from this date. They may have added Coaching and/or Mentoring at a later date.
Where the Coach and/or Mentor has a Trading State Date and no Trading End Date, it indicates that the Coach and/or Mentor is still trading. This is important for the Consumer, as a number of organisations and/or individual suppliers may still have the representation on their social media, website, marketing material, or other information; but may not be trading.
The date entered in this field is the date by which the Coach and/or Mentor stopped trading.
This date may not relate to the Coach and/or Mentor's business, where they are trading in a different industry. This date relates to where the Coach and/or Mentor ceases to trade completely or ceases to trade as a Coach and/or Mentor.
Formally registered companies are required to register a formal company address. This is found under the 'Registered Office Address' tab.
The Coach and/or Mentor may not be trading from their formally registered company address, and as such, they may register a different address under their 'Trading Address'.
The IRCM CIC recognises that company and professional indemnity insurance is different around the world, but where the body/organisation has got company and/or professional indemnity insurance; they can enter the details of their insurance policy.
- Insurance Organisation - the details in this field will provide the Consumer with the name of the insurance company.
- Insurance Type - the details in this field will provide the Consumer with the type of business, company, professional indemnity, etc. type of insurance that the body/organisation holds.
- Certificate number - the body/organisation is encouraged to enter the full details of their insurance policy, and in this field, they should enter their current certificate number.
- Date first issued - this is the date that the insurance policy was first issued.
- Date expires - this is the current date the insurance policy expires.
The insurance details entered here may need to be updated, and for more information about their insurance, the Consumer should contact the body/organisation.

This section provides each Private Commercial Training Organisation and Coach/Mentor who provides training with the opportunity to detail their Accreditation/Credential status with one or more Professional Bodies:

All Professional Bodies that are Registered/Accredited with the IRCM are highlighted with an *.

This determines the grading or award issued by the Professional Body.

This date is the date on which the grading or award was issued by the Professional Body.

All Formal Education Bodies are accredited/credentialed by their own countries Department of Education. By REGISTERING with the IRCM CIC they are demonstrating their commitment to include all Codes of Conduct and recognition of the Ombudsman Service in their courses/workshops.
Each Formal Education Body or Private Commercial Training Organisation or Coach and/or Mentor who provides training has the opportunity to list all their courses and/or workshops. The following detail can be provided:
- Course or Workshop name
- Course or Workshop
the difference between a course and a workshop can be found on the IRCM CIC’s industry recognised of Coaching and Mentoring Definitions. - Number of hours - this allows the prospective student (Consumer) to understand the level of training they will be required to complete to achieve the qualification, certification, or completion.
- Level of qualification - where a qualification is issued, the Educator/Trainer can provide details of the qualification i.e. the initials used to recognise the qualification, as well as the full title. i.e. LCH Dip - LCH Diploma.
- Outline information - a short description of the course/workshop.
