What does the IRCM CIC’s Directory provide the Consumer?

The IRCM CIC is the only independent government-approved Regulator for the coaching and mentoring industry.

It is for this reason, the International Regulator of Coaching and Mentoring CIC (IRCM CIC) focuses on helping and supporting consumers with their due diligence so that they select the right coach and/or mentor, education body, training organisation, and/or Professional Body.

To provide this help and support to the consumers, the IRCM CIC has created Industry Directories for coaches and/or mentors, education bodies, training organisations, Professional Bodies, and industry-related commercial organisations who have pride in their industry and its reputation; and provides the Consumers with all relevant details of each coach and/or mentor, education bodies, training organisation, Professional Bodies, and industry-related commercial organisation who selects to demonstrate their professionalism by:

All coaches and/or mentors, education bodies, training organisations, Professional Bodies, and industry-related commercial organisations REGISTERED on the relevant IRCM CIC’s Directory have agreed to abide by the industry recognised Codes of Conduct and recognise the industry Ombudsman Service.

The detail displayed not only includes information about their business but also includes information/details about their competence or accreditation/credential or qualification.

The IRCM CIC Directory will highlight each:

  • Coach and/or mentor, education body, or training organisation that has gained an independent verification through Accreditation/Credentialing by one or more IRCM CIC Accredited/Registered Professional Bodies, this will be highlighted.
    .
  • Professional Body or Commercial Organisation has gained Accreditation from the IRCM CIC.

All Professional Bodies and industry-related commercial organisations currently REGISTERED on the relevant IRCM CIC’s Directory have agreed to abide by the industry recognised Codes of Conduct and recognise the industry Ombudsman Service.  In addition each Registered Professional Bodies and industry-related commercial organisation has the option to gain a independent verification of their professionalism and competence.

The detail displayed not only includes information about their business but also includes additional information/details about their type of business.

  • The IRCM CIC’s Professional Bodies Directory gives you the opportunity to verify the transparency and openness of the Professional Bodies and its members:
    • What is the Professional Bodies accreditation/credentialing process?
    • Who are the team that award accreditations/credentials? and what qualifications and competence do they hold to be in this position?
    • Does the Coach and/or Mentor accredited/credentialed by the Professional Body, have the right level of competence and qualification to support you in your own personal and professional growth and development?
    • Has the Private Commercial Training Organisation subjected their organisation, course(s) and/or workshop(s), and faculty members to an independent verification that includes the requirements defined to train individuals in the coaching and mentoring industry?
      .
  • The IRCM CIC’s Commercial Organisations Directory gives you the opportunity to verify the transparency of the work that they do, and the openness of the quality of the owners, staff, and team that are involved in running the business and delivering the solution.

All coaches and/or mentors, education bodies, training organisations, Professional Bodies, and industry-related commercial organisations who do NOT select to Register on the relevant IRCM CIC’s Directory, have not agreed to abide by the industry recognised Codes of Conduct and recognise the industry Ombudsman Service.

Although the IRCM CIC supports each Consumer with the Ombudsman Service, it is important to recognise that the common law principle of caveat emptor or “let the buyer beware” places the Consumer under the obligation to discover any problems or challenges that may later be registered as grievances, disputes, and/or complaints.

Therefore, where an individual/organisation has selected to LIST themselves or not List themselves or let the Registered listing lapse, the IRCM CIC is unable to establish their level of competence or accreditation/credential or qualification or quality.
