Denny Portier-Terpstra, based in The Netherlands, is a specialist in strategic human resource management and leadership with over 20 years of experience.

Having established her own company On A Mission (www.onaworkmission.com), Denny is currently working as an independent and professional sparring partner for (HR) professionals, managers and leaders –  individually and in teams – who wish to develop their (strategic) human resource management and/or (strategic) leadership competencies.

Before she ventured out on her own, Denny worked in various HR roles. Most recently she worked 9 years in a (director level) strategic HR Business Partner role at UBM Plc. In the 10 years before that, she worked as an HR Assistant, HR Consultant and HR Manager, working her way up through the ranks in HR.

On the side, Denny has also founded and established RadioCorp BV, a very successful media company in The Netherlands. She has held both chief executive and non-exec board roles, and was a shareholder of this company until the company was sold to Talpa in 2016.

Throughout her career, Denny has gained years of experience with developing internal mentoring and coaching programs, buying coaching and mentoring services, and receiving training and acting as a mentor and a coach herself.
