The IRCM is the only independent government-approved Regulator for the Coaching and Mentoring industry.  Therefore, the Directories provide coaching and mentoring specific information about the Coach, Mentor, Education Body, Training Organisation, Professional Body or non-industry Commercial Organisation.

The reason for this is to ensure that there is no confusion when the Consumer is doing their research.

The Country displayed is the Country in which the Coach and/or Mentor is registered for business trading.

A tick confirms that this Coach and/or Mentor is Registered with the IRCM.

Registering demonstrates their credibility in the coaching and/or mentoring industry.

Registering with the IRCM demonstrates the Coach's and/or Mentors' credibility in the coaching and/or mentoring industry.

Gaining their accreditation/credential with a Professional Body recognised by the IRCM demonstrates the Coach's and/or Mentors' competence in the coaching and/or mentoring industry.

Where the Coach and/or Mentor is externally verified by a Professional Body that is Recognised by or Registered with the IRCM, the Coach and/or Mentor has the opportunity to provide the details.

Each Directory entry allows the Consumer to contact the Coach and/or Mentor directly, through the Contact Me button.

Each Coach and/or Mentor is encouraged to provide a fully detailed Biography or CV or Description of their knowledge and experience.

In this Biography or CV or Description, they will provide details on the services and support that they provide their Consumers (clients/customers).

Each Coach and/or Mentor has the opportunity to list all languages in which they provide their coaching and/or mentoring service.

Each Coach and/or Mentor is asked to confirm their level of experience in the industry.
It is worth noting that the Coach and/or Mentor may not have updated this information since their first registration, and therefore they may have more experience.

Each Coach and/or Mentor has the opportunity to list their coaching and/or mentoring service specialities.

Registering with the IRCM demonstrates the Coach's and/or Mentors' credibility in the coaching and/or mentoring industry.

The reason for the credibility is that this Coach and/or Mentor has agreed to be actively involved in the industry discussions and decisions relating to its future.  In this they have agreed to:

  • abide by the IRCM’s Coaching and Mentoring Code of Industry Standards and Ethics.
  • abide by the IRCM’s Coaching and Mentoring Industry Core Competencies.
  • abide by the IRCM’s Disciplinary Procedures.
  • recognise the Coaching and Mentoring Industry Ombudsman Service.

The Coach and/or Mentor has the opportunity to provide the details of any and all formal and informal Qualifications or Training relating to their coaching and/or mentoring services and/or products.

The IRCM CIC encourages all consumers to provide input into the IRCM’s Star System.
As the Star Ratings are provided by the consumers, it is important to know that they are not an IRCM validation of the service or services provided but are simply the opinion of another person who has used the individual's service(s) or product(s). 

Each Consumer is simply asked to use the form to provide a star rating (1 – 5) and detailed feedback about their Coach and/or Mentor.
