Who are the Coaching and/or Mentoring Industry Consumers?

Each Directory is for the benefit of the Consumers; whether the consumer is a:

Consumers of Coaches and/or Mentors are generally considered to be their Clients or Customers.

A Consumer may be someone who is not part of or involved in the coaching and mentoring industry, or they may be a Coach, a Mentor, or may be a coaching and/or mentoring Student.

A Consumer of a Formal Education Body is generally considered to be their coaching and/or mentoring students, tutors/trainers, or staff.

A Consumer may be someone who is not part of or involved in the coaching and mentoring industry, or they may be a Coach or a Mentor.

A Consumer of a Private Commercial Training Organisation is generally considered to be their coaching and/or mentoring students, tutors/trainers, or staff.

A Consumer may be someone who is not part of or involved in the coaching and mentoring industry, or they may be a Coach or a Mentor.

A Consumer of a Professional Body is generally considered to be their members (coaches, mentors, and commercial training organisations).

A Consumer of a Professional Body is generally considered to be their members (coaches, mentors, and commercial training organisations).

Consumers of Commercial Organisations are considered to be a Client or Customer or Buyer or End-user.

In other words, an individual or organisation that has selected to work with the coaching and/or mentoring services/products provided by a non-industry related Commercial Organisation.  While the IRCM recognises all non-industry related Commercial Organisations as agencies, employers, or consultancies; it is recognised that a member of the coaching or mentoring industry may set-up an agency, be an employer, or be a consultancy.  Where this is the case, it is expected that the member of the coaching or mentoring industry also abides by or adheres to the Codes of Conduct and recognises the Ombudsman or Ombudsman Service for that particular industry.

A Consumer may be an organisation/individual who is not part of or involved in the coaching and mentoring industry, or they may be a Coach, a Mentor, or a coaching/mentoring Student.

Consumers of all Commercial Organisations (Coaching, Mentoring, Education/Training, Professional Bodies, non-industry related) may be a member of their own directly employed staff or someone on contract.

A member of staff (employed or on contract) may be someone who is not part of or involved in the coaching and mentoring industry (i.e. accountant, book-keeper, HR, legal team, administration, etc.), or they may be a Coach, a Mentor, or a coaching/mentoring Student.

Consumers

Consumers will be able to utilise the IRCM’s Directory as part of their due diligence when researching the coaches and/or mentors, education bodies, training organisations, Professional Bodies, and non-industry related commercial organisations.
