This toolkit, including the relevant terms and conditions, is defined specifically so that the consumer (client, customer, student, member) understands the difference between Coaches, Mentors, and all coaching and mentoring organisations who have committed to the excellence of the industry, by demonstrating that they REGISTERED with or ACCREDITED by the IRCM.
These terms, conditions, and toolkit do NOT apply to individuals/organisations who are not found on the IRCM’s Directories unless explicit permission has been granted.  For explicit permission, email directories@ircmcic.org.

1. Conditions

All individuals/organisations that are REGISTERED on the relevant IRCM Directory have selected to demonstrate their commitment to excellence by abiding by the IRCM's Coaching and Mentoring Industry Codes of Conduct:

  • Codes of Conduct
  • Code of Industry Standards and Ethics
  • Coaching and Mentoring Industry Core Competencies
  • IRCM's Disciplinary Procedures
  • and recognising the Coaching and Mentoring Industry Ombudsman Service.

If there is any breach of these Codes of Conduct, the IRCM reserves the right to remove the individual/organisation from the relevant Directory as a Registered Coach, Mentor, Education Body/Training Organisation, Professional Body, or Commercial Organisation; and they may only be reinstated once the breach has been resolved.

Each individual/organisation that is REGISTERED on the relevant IRCM Directory agrees to comply with the Toolkit listed below.

As per the Directory Disclaimer, the detail held for each individual/organisation was correct at the time of the individual's/organisation's application or renewal and it is the responsibility of the individual/organisation to maintain the detail on their Directory entry and provide regular updates as necessary.

Under no circumstances will the Coach, Mentor, Education Body/Training Organisation, Professional Body, or Commercial Organisation imply IRCM approval or suggest that they are in partnership with the IRCM.

.
Each individual/organisation REGISTERED with the IRCM may refer to their organisation as REGISTERED, see point 2 below.

In the event of any grievance, dispute, or formal complaint, the IRCM uses the Ombudsman Service.

All grievances, disputes, or formal complaints will be dealt with respectful and in the first instance using the facilitation process.

The Ombudsman Service will ensure that there is no conflict of interest.

Should facilitation not provide a satisfactory outcome for both parties, a formal complaints procedure exists to protect all parties involved - the Professional Body, IRCM, and all consumers.
