Denny Portier-Terpstra, based in The Netherlands, is a professional Sparring Partner with over 20 years of experience in executive and non-executive leadership, human resource management, coaching, mentoring, consulting and facilitation.

As a Sparring Partner, Denny offers a unique approach to development, by combining coaching, mentoring & consulting. In this capacity, she works with business leaders and their teams on their personal, professional, team and strategic business development.

In addition, Denny holds a number of executive, non-executive and advisory board roles, and she occasionally mentors HR leaders on their strategic agenda, out of her own company 'On A Mission, to make your work a better place'.

Before she ventured out on her own, Denny had a progressive career in HR and leadership, lastly working in a director-level strategic HR Business Partner role at UBM Plc. Denny also cofounded and established RadioCorp BV, a very successful media company in The Netherlands. She held both executive and supervisory board roles at this company, and was a shareholder, until the company was sold to Talpa in 2016.

Throughout her career, Denny has gained decades of experience with developing and facilitating internal mentoring and coaching programs, buying coaching and mentoring services, receiving coaching, mentoring and facilitation training, and acting as an HR and leadership mentor and a coach herself. She has joined the IRCM board in 2018.
