Jerri Udelson created International Coaching Week in 1999 to provide a dedicated week each year to recognise the value to all consumers of the benefits of working with professional coaches, and to all students of training with industry registered training organisations.

When Jerri Udelson started National Coaching Week in 1999, which as it grew over the following years is now known as International Coaching Week, she had no idea that it would take on a life of its own.  Now in its 23rd year, International Coaching Week is celebrated around the world.

Every Professional Body, Formal Education Body, Private Commercial Coach Training Organisation, and Coach has the opportunity to showcase their professionalism to the industries consumers.

As the industry regulator, the International Regulator of Coaching and Mentoring CIC (IRCM CIC) encourages all consumers to encourage the coaches and coaching organisations they work with or are students with or are members with to take the coaching industry seriously and register with the IRCM CIC.  In this way, each consumer (client, student, or member) has pride in who they select to work with and help grow consumer confidence in this industry.
