Jerri Udelson created International Coaching Week in 1999 to provide a dedicated week each year to recognise the value to all consumers of the benefits of working with professional coaches, and to all students of training with industry registered training organisations.

When Jerri Udelson started National Coaching Week in 1999, which as it grew over the following years is now known as International Coaching Week, she had no idea that it would take on a life of its own.  Now in its 25th year, International Coaching Week is celebrated around the world.

International Coaching Week, scheduled for May 17 to 23 this year, and marks a significant event in the coaching profession.

Every Professional Body, Formal Education Body, Commercial Training Organisation, and Coach has the opportunity to showcase their professionalism to the industry's consumers (clients, students, members).

This dedicated week serves to educate clients on the merits of working with a credible, competent, and professional Coach; or train with a credible, competent, and professional Education Body/Training Organisation; or gain accreditation/credential with a credible, competent, and professional industry association organisation (recognised as a Professional Body).

Throughout International Coaching Week, coaches across the globe extend various pro bono services and activities within their local communities, enabling individuals to firsthand experience the transformative benefits of coaching.
